The Abbey Group has invested significantly in state-of-the-art laser cutting machines that can cut from very thin paper gasket material to 30mm stainless steel. We can laser cut and engrave for commercial or decorative purposes and with stock onsite we can offer a fast turnaround times even for the most complex of shapes.
Our lasers cutting machines will cut complex patterns to within a 0.1mm tolerance that would not be possible with conventional machines. Being a non-contact, localised process there is minimal distortion.
Laser cutting can produce complex shapes delivering a superior edge finish with intricate detail in a speed which is comparable or even faster than other profile cutting methods.

We can cut large sheets of flat metal with extreme precision and in astonishing turnaround times. Using pre-programmed designs, lasers cut through metal sheets effortlessly making simple or complex shapes. Our laser cutting machines are able to cut small and large batches of laser cut parts including flat plate, square and rectangular box sections or round tube laser cutting.
Our laser cutting machines are capable of high-speed repeatability to an accuracy of +/- 0.1mm. This means we can turnaround laser cutting projects quickly and by holding stock on-site we can begin your job immediately.
Choice of materials
If you are unsure which metal to use our team can help you. The most common materials are mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium. However, if your job requires a more specialist material we can discuss and source this for you.
