We’re proud to share that The Abbey Group was recently recognised in the House of Commons as a leading example of British manufacturing. During Prime Minister’s Questions, Knowsley MP Anneliese Midgley commended our work — particularly our ongoing collaboration with Saab on the production of the Saab Barracuda camouflage system, used by the British Army.
Described as “a prime example of British manufacturing at its best,” the recognition highlights the strength of our partnership with Saab, as well as our commitment to high-quality production, skilled local employment, and contributing to the UK’s defence and manufacturing sectors.
It’s an honour to see the work of our team acknowledged at the highest level of government. The mention also brought attention to the vital role SMEs like ours play in the UK’s industrial landscape — something we’re deeply passionate about.
